Daddy: Chihuahua
2 years 4 months, Male

Look at that adorable face! Daddy is a love bug. A little timid at first, but he adores his people. He’ll watch TV with you, snuggle in bed with you, and even escort you to the bathroom. He loves to be carried and treated like the sweet little guy he is. He likes other dogs, though he finds the big guys a little daunting (unless they're calm and easy-going). Cats? Indifferent to felines - no laps to curl up in. Daddy is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm. He’s such a doll - he’ll make someone a very loving companion!

Keefe: Labrador retriever
1 year 5 months, Male

Oh, where to start with this boy who has stolen our hearts… Keefe is looking for a very special someone. He is a sweet, handsome boy who was most likely horribly abused before he found his way to us. Because he was not loved or cared for, he is very fearful of people.

With patience, time, training, and loving kindness, you will see that underneath this scared boy is a funny, playful goofball. He loves to run around the yard and play with his foster’s dogs - for hours - and join in a good game of tug. He reminds his foster mom of a baby horse as he loves to hop and jump around on his hind legs when he’s in his fun, frisky mood. Secure yard with high fences, please!

If you’re looking for a “turn-key” dog, we have plenty of those, but our boy Keefe isn’t one of them. He’s a good size, too, so we recommend a home without small children (he’s not aggressive, just big and strong). Keefe is potty-trained and loves his crate. He doesn’t dig in the yard and he loves to chew bones and play with his toys.

Sweet Keefe requires understanding and patience while he learns to trust you. We know that once you have his trust, you’ll know in your heart you were meant to find each other.

Was there ever a senior as endearing as this?! Look at that face, those beseeching eyes, those flying nun ears, that sweet smile... we have a soft spot for the oldies and this little 5-pounder deserves the comforts of a well-pillowed couch and loving family to fawn over her!

Snickers Chi: Chihuahua
14 years 2 months, Female

Good with small dogs, unknown kids and cats
House-broken with rare accidents due to age

Sweet Snickers is the perfect size for carrying or cuddling for hours! She is mild-mannered and loves to be cuddled by her human. She gets along well with other dogs (35 lbs and under). She knows how to use a doggie door and adapts quickly to her surroundings. She has poor vision and is almost blind, but that's not stopping her from having a full and loving life! She'd prefer a quieter home with a high priority on naps. She's a low-maintenance girl, looking for a peaceful place!

Taco: Chihuahua
3 years 3 months, Male

My name is Taco and I've been told I'm intelligent, sociable, merry and charming. I’m the 3-year-old Chi everybody would love to have!

I'm super affectionate and will tickle you with soft, velvety kisses. I play, snuggle, and love walks. And I love a good bed to sleep in - that means a bed with YOU in it! I’ll sleep in a crate if you want me to, and I won’t fuss about it, but I will turn on the extra charm and puppy dog eyes to encourage you to invite me up and in with you.

I’ve spent time with kids ages 5 to 16 and it’s so fun when they visit. The 11-year old loves to pick me up and dance (I think she’s got a crush on me). And the 8-yr old is great for a game of Catch Me If You Can with him - he’s got good energy, just like me. I am the baby of the family and I really like to have all that love and attention.

Taco smooches are waiting for you,
Much love,
Taco

Tanner: Cocker Spaniel
14 years 5 months, Male

Tanner is a senior Cocker Spaniel with a pretty blonde coat. He enjoys a calm environment when at home relaxing with his foster mom. Being deaf and nearly blind doesn't stop Tanner from getting around, once he becomes familiar with his surroundings. He is smart and even learned to use the doggy door after help from his foster mom only two times. He has chronic ear infections and cherry eye in both eyes, but neither needs routine daily care. If you're looking for a gentle soul to relax with Tanner is your guy.

Ziggy: Staffordshire Bull Terrier
2 years 1 month, Male

HW-

Handsome Terrier mix Ziggy is making wonderful strides learning to trust and is becoming more confident every day. He loves his doggy door - out/in/out/in/repeat. So adorable! He does well with other dogs and loves a good walk and soaking up that sun.

He was skittish when he first arrived in our care - not about things like motorcycles zooming past or ambulance sirens going by. No, it was things like a cupboard door shutting hard that would startle him. He's doing better though and getting used to the normal noises of a home.

Now, Ziggy does like his treats, and not just the kind you want him to chew on - shoes, for instance, are fair game if left on the floor. Consider Ziggy your built-in motivation to keep things picked up ;-)

Quite the charmer, Ziggy is waiting for his forever home!
